Beijing Bound Athletes:
A complete list of athletes who have been nominated for Olympic selection by their National Federation can be found on the ITU's Olympic website. So far 19 athletes from eight countries have earned early Olympic team nominations. This list will be updated as more athletes are nominated.

Mooloolaba BG Triathlon World Cup - Mooloolaba , Australia

Olympic Implications:
For Australia ...it will be a performance measure for the three nominated athletes (Emma Snowsill, Brad Kahlefeldt and Courtney Atkinson). Though selection is discretionary, the Australian selection committee will heavily weigh Mooloolaba results.
For New Zealand ...the top male and female finishers will be eligible for Olympic nomination to join pre-selected athletes Bevan Docherty, Kris Gemmell, Sam Warriner and Debbie Tanner
For Switzerland ...a top-12 finish in any world cup prior to the world championships (June 5-8) is eligible for Olympic nomination, provided that athlete competed in the 2007 Beijing BG Triathlon World Cup, the official test event for the Olympic Games.
