CrossChanel Swim in event in Davao/Samal
On behalf of the Triathlon Asso. of Davao (TRIAD), I would like to thank all the participants,the companies and the support-group behind the event, for ensuring success and safety that made it the most-participated CrossChannel Swim with 96 swimmers, and with as young as 6 years old and as old as in the 70's in the pack. The coastguards, 911 team and the kayakers of Mr. Tom Inigo provided all the safety measures, of course with Mr. Dennis Beciera, the Event Director at the helm.
The 1.5k to 3k (some group were carried by strong current and was brought farther) ocean-stretch was an experience and confidence-builder to neophyte swimmers and a test of skills to pros beating their own time record.
