Invitational triathlon set
THE Barangay Ayala Alabang Invitational Triathlon gets underway June 11 at the De La Salle Pool, Narra Park, Ayala Alabang Village, Muntilupa City.
The tournament, a 4-in-1 event, starts at 6 a.m.
“We are glad we have the invitational triathlon focusing on kids and beginners as one of our offerings during the celebration of the 25th anniversary of our barangay. With this sports event, we have something for everybody,” said Barangay Ayala Alabang chairman Roland Pineda.
On-the-Spot painting contest, Brass Band exhibition and Rock Band competition usher in on June 10 the three-day festivities. On tap the next day are Outstanding Citizen Awards Ceremonies and Ballroom Dancing aside from the triathlon and on Independence Day, Walkathon, Bikathon, Palarong Pilipino (indigenous games) and Community Service (Realty tax/SSS Payments and Medical Mission are featured.
Invited triathletes/aquathletes to the invitational organized by Triathlon Association of the Philippines may register at AAVA Joffice at Narra Street (Joel Villa, sports coordinator, 0916 6367727), Speedo concept stores, TRAP Makati Office, Unit 1603 Cityland Tower 10, 1 dela Costa Street or POC satellite office at Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.
Online registration ( www.triathlon.org.ph ) is also an option; no-list up to be done on race day.
Entry fee is P600 for non-Ayala Alabang non-resident and P100 for residents. T-shirts and breakfast await the finishers.
